Cleveland, Tennessee – The Smart Solutions for Smart Factories Expo took place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, showcasing the latest innovations in manufacturing. The Expo also featured the first annual Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee Luncheon to celebrate the innovation and creativity within the state’s manufacturing sector. With 28 exhibitors presenting their cutting-edge solutions at the Expo, over 300 attendees discovered new ways to enhance safety, automation, and systems within their factories.
The luncheon culminated in the Tennessee Manufacturers Association’s announcement that Nissan’s Rogue, manufactured in Smyrna, TN was voted the Coolest Thing Made in Tennessee. Other finalists were Eclipse Glasses made by American Paper Optics, Phone as a Key by Denso, and the Eastman Tritan™ Renew.
The event was highlighted by a keynote address from Bob Kesling, the Voice of the Vols, who delivered an inspiring speech to the attendees.
The Expo was hosted by the Smart Factory Institute, and Luncheon was hosted by the Tennessee Manufacturers Association, supported by the Smart Factory Institute, the Chattanooga Regional Manufacturers Association, and the University of Tennessee Center for Commerce and Industry.
